A knight, returning from crusade, brings to a learned monk a mysterious manuscript with strange powers: since this hero of Christendom came into its possession, he has been haunted by erotic visions and become a veritable sex beast. As he proves it on the spot to the young novice attached to the monk, the latter plunges into reading the manuscript aloud.
